| Posted: June 11, 2007 3:21 PM | | | | Hi there. I really, really appreciate the new DVD Profiler 3. Finally,we have a good looking up-to-date application and it gets better and better. What did not get better since years are those two online collection templates: They look kind of ugly and the media type (HD-DVD/BluRay/DVD) isn't even displayed. Now that we have an updated good-looking application, I think, it's time for some completely overworked, fresh and nice online collection templates. What do you think? If Ken could get the online display to reflect exactly how we are cataloguing our collection within DVD Profiler (eliminating or adjusting superfluous data you don't care for, arranging the box sets as child under parent, perhaps allowing us to link to cover images we host ourselves), then perhaps the community might be less combative about every minute detail of the database. |

I'll take functional over fancy any day of the week. So the implementation of boxsets and the display of media types for example is style over substance for you? |

| Posted: June 13, 2007 10:05 AM | | | | I personally would love to see improvement in both Function (boxset support) and Style (new skins). Even though I use phpdvdprofiler... I do fall back on this site for some things. | | | Pete |

First and foremost, you can expect a persistent, ongoing presence in these forums. You'll quickly get to know Gerri, my better half, as she helps me moderate the forums and answer support tickets. She's also my favorite QA tester!
Next, expect regular program updates. Quarterly releases, including DVD Profiler, DVD Profiler Mobile, and DVD Profiler Online are planned for the forseeable future. So I guess it is coming, unless he was referring just to the forum software. | | | Last edited: June 13, 2007 10:42 AM by Squirrelecto |

| Posted: December 30, 2011 8:01 AM | | | | Hi there,
I think before the possibility to customize the template of the online version, adding some king of filters would be really nice. Basic ones like search by actors, type of film, realisator.
Thanks in advance if you decide to add some cool features on the online collection.
Best regards.

What do you think? I think the application did not get better since ten months, and what is an Online Collection good for? Never used it. | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played. [Ken Cole, DVD Profiler Architect] |

| Posted: December 30, 2011 7:02 PM | | | | Well i use online collections to share the list of my BD and DVD collection, when friends or my family want to check if i can lend them a film, it is really good to have the possibility to filter a minimum the HUGE list ... |
