When the new feature of box-sets within box-sets was introduced I vaguely remember a thread going on which had reference to a site someone had setup for uploading custom images for these box sets.

I just can't remember where

Can someone point me to the thread in question.

Thx!

Thanx Guys.

I can't access the site either right now. I'll try to access it after sometime and see if the images I need are on there.

I'm having issues with one of the drives on the web server's RAID so they're currently scanning for bad sectors to see which drive is going bad.  It's taking a lot longer than I thought it would.  MUCH longer.

I'll post a comment here when it's back up.

This is getting annoying.  I was running chkdsk against both drives hooked up to a different computer running in Safe Mode and both scans would pause when it hit 9% of the surface test.

RAID isn't supposed to mirror problems too!  Bah.

Trying another scan using the Norton Disc Doctor that came on Norton Ghost 9.

Both RAID drives checked out OK so something else is going screwy.  The main symptoms is that for every image displayed in the Virtual Cover website (and all of my other gallery websites), there's a chance that the task will hang and the image won't display.  Only way to fix is for me to manually kill the hung thread. Toss in that things are acting wonky here and there.

Since these are pages that have been running without issue for a year as-is, something else is causing it.  So instead of banging my head trying to debug it, I'm just going to reinstall everything from scratch on one of the drives and use the other as the backup where I'll import files and the databases from.

I clean install is something I've been wanting to do for awhile now but waiting until something goes BOOM and forces me.

Everything should be back to normal late tonight if all goes well.

Okay, got the server rebuilt from scratch and it's running great.  Let me know if the following URL doesn't work.

http://strangejourney.net/VirtualCovers

The old URL with the port 8080 reference will still work as I'm leaving the port active for legacy URL's out there.

I can copy them out but you can also click on a link at the top of the page and request for new folders to be created.

The upload page has a tab for Gallery Remote which allows you to upload multiple images to multiple locations.
