Generally I would agree, but for a spammer a reduction of rights for a maximum of 72 hours is something like joke and even worse it shows him that his junk has been read and by this way encourages him to do new postings. I've seen some forums drown with spam and by this becoming totally useless. Beware of the beginnings EDIT: By the comments I would think he/she got at least 4 negatives up to now and not even a "slightly low rating" is showing up.
