I made up the -wise words. I hope their meaning is clear. 

I'd rank them as:
1. The movie always comes first, provided it's uncut and uncensored, and in OAR and OST.
3. Important, but I'll take what I can get.
2. Depending on the extras offered and the quality/interest of the movie.
5. The price factor.
4. I don't care for fancy packaging or plastic toys, I don't have space for them anyway. That said, I certainly appreciate a nice cover design without disturbing spelling mistakes, quotes and ratings.

OTHERwise. I have no single criterium.. It really depends on:
- My mood
- The movie
- The price
- Alternative availabilty and its price
- Contents of my wallet 

You left out an option for me.

Well, it depends on the price, extras offered and my mood.

This was kind of hard for me, probably because (as usual) I'm overthinking it.

At first I was going to say Movie-Wise, because who cares how good it looks if the content is lousy.

I ended up going with Techie-wise, though, because if a movie I really care about (good content) is only available in pan-and-scan, I won't buy it.  So, I guess in the end the image and sound quality won out.

The packaging and extras, however, are relatively unimportant to me.  I put all my DVDs in changers and folders without the packaging when they arrive, and I save the bonus disks but never end up watching them.

My first option are that the Film must be exist in his original format , I'm really hate the pan and scan. Of course there are not many more,  a good luck.

Second : The Multi language and a good sound, since I like very much the classics one, I don't care about the 5.1 Sound. But it will not said that i'm don't like it.

And of course a good packaging are not excluded, but not an option to buy them

And at last I’m must like the film. .

Of course we all love good movies. Of course we all prefer good quality over poor quality. Of course good quality alone doesn't change a bad movie into a good movie... That said, there are some people who give a lot of thought to technical aspects: they wait for the best possible edition before they buy a movie they care for and they will readily double-dip when a better edition comes out, if the wallet permits. They are Number 3 people.    Number 1 people instead would happily spend the same amount of money to own another good movie or TV series, most probably. They enjoy good image&sound as well as others do, but they don't feel as strongly as No.3's about technical perfection and have somewhat different spending priorities.

You definitely are a Number 3.    I think a Number 1 would have bought seven more good movies and updated 2001 just once if ever.
