| Posted: | | | | I own The Simpson Movie (024543-484271) | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |

| Posted: | | | | But it looks like everyone is buying Angels and Demons-- : I see there are 29 versions of Angels and Demons in the data base and they are all (almost all) a real mess. Blue ray combos are listed as regular DVD, some have no scans no overview no cast no crew etc etc etc etc and they are sitting in there bare bones except for a disc ID or UPC.. and yet there are approved..
Others have standard running time along with the 2 disc ED that the rules stipulate when there are two versions and one is extended use the longer running times.. Again approved ..
Too bad we couldn't cull all this information and get these editions shorted down to say a reasonable 12 versions instead of 29 ... Well I started,, with three contributed Titles .. Lets see some more . | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

I bought that movie! ... on the superior Blu-ray format Perhaps just not that many people bought it on DVD and instead went with Blu-ray? Or they voted neutral on your submission? I don't know ... | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |

| Posted: | | | | It doesn't surprise me anymore. Some contributions, which I think were real popular, get almost no votes. Other contributions, which are kind of out of the way, or not mainstream, or some other excuse get a ton of votes. I quit trying to figure out why |

| Posted: | | | | This has happened to me before... on more then one occasion. I just figured it was because there was more then one UPC number for the release and I just got the one that was not out there as much as the other one. And more times then not... if I looked at the profile for (one of) the other profile(s) it was almost always a better, more complete profile. | | | Pete |

I have seen many time that there be multiple UPC numbers for the very first release of the movie (with no differences in the DVD). No idea why... but it does happen quite often. | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | It might get different UPC's based purely where it's sold. I've noticed that several UK supermarkets sometimes get their own UPC's (not stickers, I mean on the actual cover). Stores like Tesco and Asda especially. |

Again approved In the 2-disc are the theatrical and extended editions on the same disc? It's only when they are on the same disc that the Rule specifies to use the longer version... if the extended version is on a second 'bonus' disc the runtime should be the theatrical one because we don't include the runtime of extras... at least according to those who have corrected my contributions using the longer time and got them Yes voted on and approved... Obviously if they are on the same disc the profiles are just plain wrong! AIUI the Rule was apparently written before there were any extended/theatricals on two serperate disc releases and personally I think the Rule should be updated to say use the longer time when the two are included in the same release but as it stands... | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |
