It looks like the CLT is off because a number of profiles are using bad data.  From what I can tell the most commonly credited as should be Jim Caviezel not James Caviezel.

According to CLT

Credited as Jim Caviezel (52 Titles / 220 Profiles)
Angel Eyes
Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius
The Count of Monte Cristo
Déjà Vu
The Final Cut
Frequency
G.I. Jane
High Crimes
Highwaymen
I Am David
Long Weekend
Madison
Outlander
The Passion of the Christ
Sunday Morning Shootout
The Thin Red Line
Unknown

Credited as James Caviezel (94 Titles / 477 Profiles)
Angel Eyes
Any Given Sunday: Director's Cut (Uncredited)
The Big Question
Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius
Children of the Dust
The Count of Monte Cristo
Déjà Vu
Ed
The Final Cut
Frequency
G.I. Jane
High Crimes
Highwaymen
I Am David
Long Weekend
Madison
Midnight Sting (Diggstown)
My Own Private Idaho
Outlander
The Passion of the Christ
Pay It Forward
Ride with the Devil
The Rock

I can confirm the following:

James Caviezel
The Rock
Pay it Forward
Wyatt Earp

Jim Caviezel
Angel Eyes
Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius
Count of Monte Cristo
Deja Vu
Frequency
G.I. Jane
High Crimes
Outlander
Passion of the Christ
Thin Red Line

I've always disagreed with the CLT on this one.
(Obviously I personally use 'Jim' as the common name).

What also helps, is to check for correct original titles or production years. Along with the regular CLT, I've been using Matthias (Good_Guy) CLT Plus tool, which shows a lot more info (hence the "Plus" ).
You can easily spot titles that don't have the correct original title, or none at all, or incorrect localities. Update the original titles, remove the incorrect localities and the CLT results might show an entirely different picture.

Unfortunately, Matthias' site has been taken down. If someone wants the program (it's a simple .hta file), pm me your emailaddress, and I'll send it to you.

I've just entered these names, and I think that the CLT results for James Caviezel can be reduced with more than 40 titles and Jim Caviezel with about 15 titles. And without touching any of the credits. That can be done at a later stage.

I've done a similar thing for Pete Doctor/Peter Doctor.
Before: Pete Doctor 23/172, Peter Doctor 30/162
After: Pete Doctor 21/184, Peter Doctor 13/149
See?

In fact, I'm going to fix a few right now. Expect some results in the new year (when my updates will be processed by Invelos).

Well that's all well and good, marcel, but you aren't checking the data either and you are assuming that name variants are the same person. But, for example since you mentioned Peter Doctor, I discovered recently that his probably seven year old credit for monsters, inc was wrong, it isn't Peter Doctor, it is Pete Doctor and I would bet that at least some of the other alleged Peter Doctor credits are likewise incorrect, thus the CLT is based on poor data and therefore giving erroneous answers.

I look forward to being able to re-verify all his films someday, unless someone beats me to it. This also does not mean that a copy of Monster, inc from your locality would have exactly the same list of credits, yours may very well say Peter instead of Pete, that can only be verified by you checking YOUR copy and not assuming.

So far it looks like a number of the profiles using "James Caviezel" are not coming from the film credits.

Well, on the surface I agree, Trace...but caution. We can only report what we see in our copies as I noted you and other users were wisely listing. He could still be listed as James in the same movies, for other versions, regions or Localities.

Long Weekend (German release, 4041658222518):
I don't find the DVd right now, but on cover and credit block he's credited as Jim Caviezel, not James. I'll check with credits, when I find the DVD.

This is true however, we can correct the copies we have against the existing credits.  If he is credited as Jim Caviezel then the profile should be corrected and contributed.

OK folks. I've cleaned up some titles, original titles and deleted incorrect localities. The results:

Jim Caviezel: 52/220 -> 35/213
James Caviezel: 94/477 -> 46/449

So at the moment, James Caviezel is still the most credited name. Mind you, there are still a lot of wrong entries that credit "James", while it should be "Jim", and there still a lot of production years that need to be corrected ('Ride with the Devil' has entries for 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 for instance, so they count as 4 titles instead of 1). But do you see what a little housekeeping does?

I could update the production years as well, and the results will be Jim/James - 20/31 titles (approximately). So the CLT results still favor James...
