I have just two simple questions with hopefully simple answers

1. Credits: Music by Person A in association with Person B.
Both credits are in the same font size, colour etc. Does Person B get a Music By credit?

2. When there is no Rating printed on the cover nor printed on the DVD, but at the end of the main feature a R-Rating clip appears. Is this DVD rated R or should this be logged as Not Rated?

In regards to question #2, you can also check various sites to confirm the film's rating but I do think you can take it from there, doesn't happen very often in the States (meaning not having a rating on the back cover), though so not sure...

Well, it's a region 1 DVD, Halloween III: Season of the Witch (GoodTimes release).

Are you guys sure about this... While in this case since it is on the DVD It seems correct... but I don't think you can use any website per Rules...

Rules Quote:
Quote:
Use the Rating shown on the DVD cover. When there is no rating, or an unrated version of the film on the disc, use the NR rating. Use the “Adult” rating for all Adult films.

Says right there if not on the case or on the disc to use NR rating.

The film is R-Rated, because at the end of the film a clip of the R-rating shows. I'm talking about the DVD. The Rating isn't printed on the cover, neither printed on the DVD. When you enter a store and want to buy it, you can't make out of the cover whether it's rated or not.

Well, generally I use the website (like filmratings.com) for rating details. I just said to use the site to confirm it... And in this case, since it is on the disc, then the OP should submit it as being rated R.

The big joke here is that we can use the rating details from either the on-screen ratings page or filmratings.com. So a strict reading of the rules could lead to including the rating details, yet not the rating itself...

I understand. Just pointing out the discrepancy in the rules.

For question #1, both John Carpenter and Alan Howarth should get a composer credit.

I think it must be this Version:
018713810236, USA.

According to the MPAA it's rated R:
http://www.mpaa.org/FlmRat_SrchReslts.asp

But according to the rules, I have to agree with Addicted2DVD, we have to give it a NR.

Seems to be one of the first releases of Halloween III.
Would be interesting if there is a rerelease cover with a rating on it and if we would in that case use the rating R.

Actually, it's this one: 025192360626, since I just received an update from Corne.

Is it possible the R on the left bottom of the credits block, is the Rating symbol ?

Yes that R in the box is the rating.
