How would you define trailers for other seasons of the same show. So for example the Buffy the Vampire Slayers: Season 4 Region 2 release has two trailers for season 2 and 3. Are those Bonus Trailers or Feature Trailers? I know this is really nitpicking

I would go for Bonus Trailers, as they are not referring to the actual season.

cheers

Agree as well. It isn't for the release you are watching it on... so it wouldn't be feature.

Toy Story on Blu-ray includes a single Trailer promoting Toy Story 1 (this disc) and Toy Story 2 on Blu-ray.

Feature or Bonus Trailer.

I'd be inclined to reserve Feature for Trailers explicitly for the film by itself but i'm open to other thoughts.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

I agree. It would be misleading to call it a Feature Trailer since it doesn't preview the feature but rather the playback vehicle.  Good question; tough call.

Both,
Trailer promoting Toy Story 1 -> Feature Trailer (Toy Story 1 is the main feature)
Trailer Toy Story 2 -> Bonus Trailer (Toy Story 2 is an other film)

With television series I was unsure because the series as a whole is a show. But for the purpose of Invelos we speak of main features/show. A season released on DVD/Blu Ray is the main feature and another season is considered another main feature (to sum things up).

Ah, there's just one trailer promoting Blu Ray for Toy Story 1 & 2?

Yep.  Kind of silly to get advertising for the disc you just bought on the disc you just bought.  But there it is.

Well it isn't a trailer for the main feature. It isn't a trailer for other films/shows. Isn't it some kind of trailer montage?

For example, in the UK the first season of Brothers & Sisters is released by Buena Vista. The first disc starts with a sort of montage of several shows and it's a trailer promoting TV shows on DVD. Thankfully there are separate trailers for other shows on the first disc also. But if they weren't I wouldn't add it as a bonus trailer.

If it's an add promoting Toy Story 1 & 2 on DVD / Blu-ray, I would say that's not a trailer in the proper sense.  It's a promotional add.  Thus neither should be check.  It's not a trailer.

Had it been a trailer for Toy Story followed by a separate trailer for Toy Story 2, then I'd say Feature Trailer and Bonus Trailer respectively.
