should the trailers checkbox be checked on the features section in the profile?

Thanks.

(Edited to add: the trailers will automatically download and begin playing before the feature IF your player is hooked up to the internet.)

Nice one. I'm inclined to think that it's a "BD Live" feature, and thus covered by that checkbox. Because if we don't, then any BD Live content should be classified as such, like if BD Live offers a featurette, then we should tick "featurettes". I don't think so.

Agree, it's a feature of BD Live so that should be checked.

BD Live content is not present on the disc, and will probably not be available forever. I'd only use the BD Live option as well.

In other words: if your player is hooked up to the internet, you see trailers; if it's not hooked up, you don't.

The reason I ask is that one of my submissions (to uncheck the trailers box) is getting "no" votes because users with players hooked up see trailers. (I don't keep mine hooked up so I don't see the trailers).

Actually, I think maybe the trailers are downloaded and stored on your player's memory.

Not sure if I should withdraw it; guess I'll wait for more votes first.

Thanks.

Ryan.

Again, agree with Tim. I also made note of it in my vote for this contribution.

I agree with T!M as well.  It is not a feature that is on the disc, so should not be in the profile.

If you've got a BD-Live enabled player make sure it's not connected & look at the available options. Then connect it & see what's then available.

Yep.  If the trailers are only available via BD-Live, they won't be there without the internet connection.
