I have 10 codes that you can redeem online to print a voucher for a free movie ticket. They must be used by January 12. Anyone interested?

Oh, we want to see Girl With Dragon Tattoo! (2 tickets available?)

Edit: Kathy, what a kind gesture. Tickets printed and ready to go!

In my area, vouchers appear to be linited to 6 currently showing WB movies (up tp $7.50): Happy Feet 2, New Years Eve, Sherlock Holmes, Extremely Loud ..., J. Edgar and Harold & Kumar. We will see either Sherlock or J. Edgar soon, assuming there are no local theater restrictions.

Thanks again!

The only choice I have locally is Sherlock Holmes 2 or New Years Eve. Hope Darkest Hour is on the same side of the theater, as it's the only thing I would care to see and starts 5 minutes eariler. I'll find out this afternoon. I think I prefer the moviecash that tells you what you can and can't see, not just show you a list of stuff already gone from the theater.

How sad is it that J Edgar is already gone, but New years Eve is still playing? I hate the world at times like this!

Still, I was waiting for these 2 titles to hit that $8 mark anyway, so I still would've bought them without the movie cash I'm sure. It's all bonus from here!

He he.

I love when a plan comes together and the 3D craze helped a ton. Darkest Hour was not on the right side of theater, but with half the films in 3D, there's only 1 ticket taker in the middle now, so get past them and go anywhere you want. The misses and I held on to our 3D glasses from a few months ago and got to see a free (daytime non-3D matinee tickets were exactly $7.50) 3D flick with em. Had to buy a ticket for Sherlock Holmes, News Year Eve is down to just a couple of night shows.

Darkest Hour was slightly better than the reviews say it is, but I probably won't bother to see it again. Kinda fun in 3D though, not much pop but a lot of depth and clearly filmed in 3D for 3D even though they didn't throw much at you.

Ha! We thought about doing the same thing, but luckily we did want to see Sherlock. So yesterday we went ahead and paid to see Girl With ... and used the vouchers to reserve tickets for Sherlock tomorrow. Nirvana - two movies in one week. Now my wife loves Kathy too!  (We've also scarfed up some of those recycled 3D glasses - they are higher quality than the ones that came with my LG TV and work great!)

Edit Jan 8: Just got back from Sherlock Holmes. We almost walked out - it was too cute, too clever in the beginning - then it picked up and WOW! Love all the twists and turns. Love the ending. We had a good time. Now we are about to crank up the home theater and watch the first one again. My wife doesn't remember having seen it - cool, I get to watch it again!!!

Thank you to Kathy for the passes! Mom and I saw New Year's Eve and enjoyed it. @bigdaddyhorse: Our theater actually still has J. Edgar playing, but neither of us were too interested in that one. We were down to Sherlock Holmes and New Year's Eve, but mom picked NYE since she wanted to watch more of a comedy.

My son originally didn't want to see the new "Mission Impossible" and we were going to use the passes to see "The Darkest Hour". I convinced him at the last minute that using the vouchers on a movie with a running time of over 2 hours (Mission Impossible) was the better deal , so that's what we saw. Pretty good movie . We also went during Matinee time (3:50pm) which cost $7.50...so it was free.
