I got this title last night... and while I understand where the contributor was trying to go.... I feel the overview is not right in the profile leaving it a bit hard to read...

Overview in Profiler:
Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl is the horrifying story of two classic monsters re-imagined as super hot - and extremely lethal - Japanese school girls. The opening montage of blood-caked XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX sends audiences stumbling towards the emergency exits with one hand over their eyes and the other clamped tightly over their mouths. Mad scientist principals, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXX XXXXX, psychedelic blood-filled chocolates, XXXXX, sex-crazed psychotic school nurses, XXXXXXX, ethically questionable afterschool activities, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXed XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, and a XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX sumo wrestler from hell are just a few of the atrocities you'll be treated to upon a viewing of this XXXXXXX cinematic offering. Oh yeah, there's also a gruesome XXXXXXg helicopter constructed out of bloody XXXXXXXX human XXXXXXX limbs-if you're into sick XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX like that.

I don't know what the answer here is... as there is no what to make it match exactly per rules... but the X's don't feel or look right to me... so wanted to come here for some opinions.

Seems correct per the rules. At least as correct as recopying spelling mistakes...

No... there is no way to get this one correct per invelos rules... as the rules say exactly per front cover and since there is no X's on the back cover it is not correct per invelos' rules.

From my point of view, the X are as close as possible on the cover. Therefore I'd vote yes for them...

First not even considering the Xs. There are double spaced between words, sometimes triple spaced.

What would be an opition? Leaving the blacked out words blank in the overview, counting the spaces between blood-caked                                                                  sends  audiences

If you have no optional idea, why bring it up. It is what it is.

I agree. It's not perfect but seems to be the best solution.

Why bring it up? obviously to try to get an idea that would work better... but I guess that was stupid of me to think that people around here would actually even attempt to work together to try to come up with a better solution for something.

Actually, those are all single spaces. The formatting of the paragraph is justified. This gives a clean look to the left & right sides of the text. To achieve this, the spacing is widened as needed, but a widened single space is still a single space.

As for the OP, given the lack of ability to actually blacken out words, the Xs provide the next best option to duplicate what is on the case.

well... that is just a matter of opinion. I find it makes it harder to read if anything.

alt 219 is a black-out but don't know if the program will support it.

Just tried it in an overview, doesn't work. You can't follow the rule because the program will not let you follow the rule.

And why not cut the black away and only leave what is also readable, like this:

Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl is the horrifying story of two classic monsters re-imagined as super hot - and extremely lethal - Japanese school girls. The opening montage of blood-caked sends audiences stumbling towards the emergency exits with one hand over their eyes and the other clamped tightly over their mouths. Mad scientist principals, psychedelic blood-filled chocolates, sex-crazed psychotic school nurses, ethically questionable afterschool activities, ed, and a sumo wrestler from hell are just a few of the atrocities you'll be treated to upon a viewing of this cinematic offering. Oh yeah, there's also a gruesome g helicopter constructed out of bloody human limbs-if you're into sick like that.

I would prefer that one more than the many x what make the readability not better.

I don't know if it is the next best option as dashes would make it easier to read and have the same effect.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

I would not use Xs. Dashes not only make the Overview easier to read, they actually are more accurate than X's in representing a black line.
