So do I get this correct?

Nudity on cover does need a Adult rating or Adult Genre to get in database, no matter which rating the DVD has?

When starts nudity? Naked breast?

So for locality Germany there wouldn't be a need for the rating Adult (Porno), because there's no difference to unrated? We just have to give those unrated porn movies the correct Genre?!

That's it. If the DVD has a rating (even "unrated"), use that. If the DVD's cover is not to be shown, use the Adult genre.

Where nudity starts? Use you own judgement, and the screeners will step in if they think differently.

All of this is not complicated. What may be questionably is the designation "Genre" for information that also covers Television, Classic, Adult, which are a sort of Type indication. However, we should be used to that, since we have something similar for Production Year. In DVDP it means what Invelos has defined it to mean. This is all in the interest of banning out common sense.

This is absolutely correct. We're not changing any rules and this is not a new policy.  The Catch 22 covers and profiles all were approved without problem.

Try to search with locality Austria.  The op profile should be in database as it got accepted in the second try with Adult Genre.

I can't search in the database since it would means accepting the update who brings the NR/Unrated non-sense and I don't want that. Any chance that someone tell me the UPC so I will be able to check with it on the web?

The database only has the individual movie entered via disc ids.

The only Austrian entry via UPC is 9-007150-906016.

Edit: This UPC DVD is a box set but I don't know if it is the correct one. Thanks Pete.

Not sure the UPC will be helpful in this case since the contributor said it was part of a boxset

Don't worry, I've set the locality to Austria (it's an austrian release), but It's not rated either. It's part of a box set (Ilsa - Die Trilogie), which was released on June 4th.

See what I put in bold.

Connecting to the online database should only add "unrated" to your list of possible ratings - it shouldn't add it to any of your profiles unless you ask it to "refresh profiles" (which I know you won't).

I was going to suggest you backup your localities.xod file and replace it afterwards (nulling the update) however it looks like the "unrated" rating isn't stored there. Does anyone know where it is stored?

That is my understanding as well, and I mentioned it earlier in this thread.  I have accepted the update, with the NR/Unrated rating, and none of my profiles were changed.

Not sure that this step is needed.    As you said, and I said in my earlier post, unless you accept the actual profile changes, you will never notice the difference.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Yes I know my error

I try to find the german released to see the cover but no luck yet. I'm surprise it was released by a german company, I was sure that talking of the third reich was a big constitutional no-no there. Looks like we learn something new every day

That's because I think it's an Austrian release not German. I think you're right, the German authorities would have a very hard time allowing a film like Ilsa to be released.

That's correct, it was an austrian release and because of beeing part of a box set, I contributed "She Wolf of the SS" by Disc ID. But here is the cover, I contributed and everyone is discussing about^^. And I think in this case not only the front cover is imported, but also the back cover!

So I guess either...
But the strange thing is, that the box set has the same cover and there I didn't add the genre "porno" and it was accepted anyway... I even think several screeners have different notions about "porno"!

Just for this little tiny image of Dyanne Thorne in the back

That shows nothing for christ sake, it's a profile image... I supposed the screener is from the States where you can't sell vibrators also

It's almost tempting to get it, since Tigress of Siberia isn't available here. Does the print used for it is good or it's just a VHS transfert?

I have just seen "She Wolf of the SS" yet, but for the age of this movie the picture has a very good quality, definitely better than VHS. I expect the same good quality for the other two sequels.

Before ordering it, please make sure that your equipment can play PAL, if not you'd be really disappointed about the Siberian snowstorm on your screen.
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
