| | Posted: | | | | Just got to 1000 today. it was: Wayne's World All Regions Released: 12.05.2009 Widescreen 1.85:1 I have about 600 regular DVD's, including various Box Set's and the rest is comprised of 180 HD-DVD's and 243 Blu Ray's. (I used to own 177 HD-DVD but then last week ordered 3 which came in the last few days, because I wanted desperately to have 180 exactly..) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am very happy to am part of this elite club. Now I spend almost all of my money on movies.. (Although mostly BD now and only the occasional DVD).. I don't think there are a lot of people with more than 180 titles in that format.. And to think.. I bought my HD-DVD Player after WB made the announcement to bail out.. I am attempting to input 10 a day, but not committed to it  I wonder if anyone has a million minutes of movies. would take a collection approaching 10,000 titles. anyone there? |

Currently at 1197... trying to resist running out and buying a random 3 just to hit 1200. :-) I know full well that within a week or 2, I'll have found 3 I actually want.
When I started entering my collection into DVD Profiler, I inputted about 60 manually in about 3 hours. The following week, I borrowed a bar code scanner from work and inputted about 1000 in little over 2 hours. Very convenient - I didn't even need to take the movies off the shelf - just angle them enough to see the upc.... If you have access to borrow one, it'd save a ton of time. Not sure if I'd buy one - once the collection is entered, there isn't much more use for a scanner. |
