| Posted: | | | | Like i said, Rho. Under that note, with parsing involved, i am not interested in your undocumented knowledge or guess. Your note is not beneficial to anyone, especially months down the road.

Skip I can live with the fact that you are not interested in my data. I have seen a lot of people who have welcome my contributions. |

| Posted: | | | | You missed the point , Rho. It is not that I don't want it, I don't want it undocumented.

| Posted: | | | | So as always, we get no answer from you. Here as what I find every time.
Someone asks question. Possible Skip responses found? 3.
1) Are you even reading my responses? 2) I have posted it already. Not my fault you cannot read. 3) Lock this thread.
I see in this case you have gone for option 1. | | | Last edited: by samuelrichardscott |

| Posted: | | | | Not true at all, Sam. I think my question fo you is legtimate.
That question has been answered numerous time by myself. Which leads to the question. I support a default of 1/2/3 and have for YEARS, for all of the reasons I have explained repeatedly. So documenting 1/2/3 is not even a question...it is a starting point. You asked a question abourt documentation...which is not relevant nor consistent to my position...thus the question.
However from the tone of your follow-up, I presume you were intending to be argumentative.

| Posted: | | | | Personally, I would agree that 1/2/3 is the standard but I would NOT vote no on someone who used 1//23 if it was an actress and (2) was her maiden name, even if they had no documentation. That is my opinion. | | | Last edited: by samuelrichardscott |

| Posted: | | | | I think most of us support 1/2/3 as a default. The question is what counts as documentation. |

I see in this case you have gone for option 1. Don't forget 4). It's obvious. I shouldn't have to explain it to you. 5) I know because I have knowledge in this area. |

Skip wants, as far as I understand, 1/2/3 to be the starting point for all names regardless of nationality and culture, (Dr, Sir, de, van is already an exception in the rules) so documentation for that will not be needed (unless changing from 1//2 3 of course). Any change from the starting point will have to be documented. To me, this sounds logical. EDIT: To attack him, in this thread, at this point because you haven't either read what he has said, misunderstood, or don't want to understand him is just throwing the thread in a wrong direction again. EDIT: And the same to you Ace. Not necessary EDIT: And while I've been typing, I see that the discussion has moved on | | | The colour of her eyes, were the colour of insanity | | | Last edited: by reybr |

IF that is true, Ace and I am not sure that it is, then we can begin to discuss documentation, as I said I have some thought on the matter, but I think it is premature.
