Can you provide a link to the story that backs up this quote?

Edit:  I see you did provide a link to the story.  According to the story, "this information comes from three West Wing sources who say a fourth White House employee in the meeting told them..."

Are you serious with this?  The author is claiming that he heard this from someone who claims to have heard it from someone else.  Come on.  Sounds like something from the National Enquirer.

I originally had just Googled "Bush U.S. Consitution," which brought me to that site. After doing more research on the subject, I found it to be mostly likely false and I removed the quote from my original post.

I just found this on FactCheck.org, "Extremely unlikely. The Web site that reported those words has a history of quoting phony sources and retracting bogus stories. The report that Bush "screamed" those words at Republican congressional leaders in November 2005 is unsubstantiated, to put it charitably. We judge that the odds that the report is accurate hover near zero. It comes from Capitol Hill Blue, a Web site that has a history of relying on phony sources, retracting stories and apologizing to its readers.

As seen on O'Reilly last night, who said "this happened recently", but didn't see the February date in the corner.

I believe that it is relevant, because we already went through this back in February with Democratic Debate hosted by Tim Russert. Here is part of that debate:
"Russert began the discussion of Farrakhan by asking Obama, "On Sunday, the headline in your hometown paper, Chicago Tribune: 'Louis Farrakhan backs Obama for president at Nation of Islam convention in Chicago.' Do you accept the support of Louis Farrakhan?" Indeed, that was the headline of a February 25 Tribune article discussing Farrakhan's endorsement of Obama. But Russert did not note the article's subhead: "Senator has criticized him, says support not sought." Nor did he mention that the article quoted Obama spokesman Bill Burton as saying: "Senator Obama has been clear in his objections to Minister Farrakhan's past pronouncements and has not solicited the minister's support."

In response to Russert's question, Obama said:

OBAMA: You know, I have been very clear in my denunciation of Minister Farrakhan's anti-Semitic comments. I think that they are unacceptable and reprehensible. I did not solicit this support. He expressed pride in an African-American who seems to be bringing the country together. I obviously can't censor him, but it is not support that I sought. And we're not doing anything, I assure you, formally or informally with Minister Farrakhan.

Following Obama's answer, Russert asked, "Do you reject his support?" Obama then replied, "Well, Tim, you know, I can't say to somebody that he can't say that he thinks I'm a good guy," adding: "I have been very clear in my denunciations of him and his past statements, and I think that indicates to the American people what my stance is on those comments." Russert continued, stating: "The problem some voters may have is, as you know, Reverend Farrakhan called Judaism 'gutter religion.' " Obama replied, "I am very familiar with his record, as are the American people. That's why I have consistently denounced it." Indeed, in his answer to Russert's initial question, the first thing Obama said was, "You know, I have been very clear in my denunciation of Minister Farrakhan's anti-Semitic comments," calling them "unacceptable and reprehensible."

You completely miss the point.

Why is it that all of these whacko people support Barack Obama?  Why did William Ayers help him in his career?  What is it about Barack Obama that attracts the extreme left wing and beyond?

Either you are very naive about how politics works or you simply choose to turn the other way.

People support politicians who are of like mind!  Ayers, Wright and Farrakhan believe that Barack Obama believes in essentially the same things that they do.  I believe they are right!  Basically, they all support socialism, class warfare and the redistribution of wealth.

Barack Obama is OBLIGATED to these people for their support.  They will receive their paybacks, you can bet on it!

You can say the same thing about McCain. Up until this Friday McCain was inciting terrorists at his rallies. With shouts of "Kill Him, Terrorist and Traitor."  When McCain tried to call them down, he got booed! Booed by his own radical supporters, when he asked them to respect Obama. Why did McCain turn to the nasty attacks, its because, "It's a dangerous road, but we have no choice," a top McCain strategist told the Daily News. "If we keep talking about the economic crisis, we're going to lose."

I don't know why the Obama campain doesn't bring this up, but McCain is also tied to Ayers if you want to play the "Guilty By Association" Game. When in Chicago Obama worked on a education program with Ayers which was run by the Annenberg Foundation. Lenore Annenberg wife of Walter Annenberg, who started the program, which gave money to the Chicago schools to help improve education in the city, donated to the McCain campaign. Don't believe me check out McCain's site here and see her name listed. Does this mean the McCain supports terrorists? It does if you use his own logic.

As to say I'm naive about politics, I beg to differ. My step dad was a local councilman for years before becoming the city's public liason in the '90s. My mom worked for the state for 26 years in the local unemployment office and was involved in the state employee's union, until she took a job in management. To say I don't know much about politics, you didn't have dinner with these people who talked about their work all the time.

Maybe terrorist was not the right word to use, but when you use fear tactics to incite outrageous remarks from your supporters and don't do anything about it for a few days, people start talking. Even FOX News thinks that John McCain has gone to far in is smears, by saying "Smear campaigning should be beneth John McCain." Even former Republican Gov. William Milliken says, "He is not the McCain I endorsed," said Milliken, reached at his Traverse City home Thursday. "He keeps saying, 'Who is Barack Obama?' I would ask the question, 'Who is John McCain?' because his campaign has become rather disappointing to me.

"I'm disappointed in the tenor and the personal attacks on the part of the McCain campaign, when he ought to be talking about the issues." Source

It is FEAR tactics to explore the character or lack tereof of som, eone running for POTUS, I think NOT. Per mit me to offer you a reference and a comparison. Go read the writings of Karl Marx, then listem to Obama. This is indeed a dangerous man, quite probably the single most dangerous man to ever try and win the job.

Now let me point oyut a flaw in your thinking. You say this statement was explored back in february, that is true. But there is a problem with that first that was an intra=party issue for the promaries NOT the general election. Secondly there are many millions of people who are just now beginning to really pay attention, and you want to tell me that statement is no longer relevant. WOW!!!!

You aren't exaggerating just a little bit, are you Skip?

Please list all the things that Obama has said that leads you to believe he is dangerous, or even just some of the things he has said.  I am pretty certain he hasn't said anything that makes him the single most dangerous man to ever try and win the job of president.

And there's the difference between McCain and Obama.  McCain rallies allow anybody into the tent, they aren't screened like Obama's.  That means that some ultra rightwing nutcases show up who make those kinds of comments.  To say that McCain supports such behavior is not only ludicrous, it's illogical as hell.

It is also obvious that you come from a liberal background, which is why you say what you do.  Hal is dead on when he says that people support those who think like they do.  Wright, Farrokhan, et. al., support Obama; you support Obama; you tell me why we should think there is any difference between any of you.

You really are naive about politics, aren't you?  You think this campaign is nasty?  Mean spirited?  Racist?  You don't have a clue.  Try reading the political cartoons from the 1890's through the 1920's.  Where do you think the term "yellow journalism" comes from?  Read up on what went on back in Andrew Jackson's times during political campaigns.  Today is like a kindergarten cake and ice cream party by comparison.

There are legitimate questions about Obama's birth, his schooling, his work in Chicago for ACORN and the Annenberg Group, his connections and associations to Ayers, Wright, and others.  None of them are being answered.  In fact, the left is expending tremendous effort to deflect people from getting answers to those questions.  Maybe you want somebody like that as president.  I sure as hell DO NOT.
