| Posted: | | | | It would probably be more accurate to say that 40 people want to extend the crew credits some how. That how is in question.
Or
politically 54% are at least somewhat unhappy with the current system 37% are happy with the current system 8% are undecided | | | Last edited: by CharlieM |

| Posted: | | | | I voted for two and I in no way endorse Skip here. I think open (categorized) credits would be good for writing, but everything else we should stick to something similar to what we have. |

What make writing special? The sam sort of problems exist elsewhere as well. | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

It is, however, in my opinion, the better solution...especially when you consider the fact that we are a volunteer work force. Personally speaking, Martian, the volunteer work idea has no relevance> We are building a quality product for ourselves and each other or we aren't. I know there are few that don't care about anyone but themselves, but I never put in 10s of thousands of hours into this program trying to do anything but the best I could for everyone else. That pleasure was taken from me by a small handful of users. Do we want eveeryone to participate or is it just the few, I know what my opinion is. Skip | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! I have to ask you a question since you took shots at me for my minimal Contributions and Dan's even fewer and probably a few other users as well. But you grant other relative Non-Contributors a valid voice because they agree with you? I don't need to name them, they know who they are as well as I do. Ask yourself a question, why has a Contributor who used to contribute upwards of 50 Profiles a week dropped to near zero. Why did another user who was a big Contributor take away his Cover images from a thread he developed five years ago. There are lots of answers in both cases. And is that a good thing that users have been allowed to become disenchanted with the work. I would say NO it is NOT. I look forward to some of the comments i expect so be careful | | | ASSUME NOTHING!!!!!! CBE, MBE, MoA and proud of it. Outta here

Invent your own data. Not at all. As I already wrote, I wish less but better data. No more crew for sound or art, with thousands of unknown people for whom we'll never get any correct linking, BY, or headshots, due to total lack of documentation. Before adding unknown people, it would be necessary to clean the online to get correct data for most known people, which is far from being the case at present time. | | | Images from movies | | | Last edited: by surfeur51 |

I look forward to some of the comments i expect so be careful Well, people lijke deejay, VirusPil, Kathy and myself are all regular and valuable contributors, and if I read their statements correctly, they all say we already track more than enough and they do not want full open credits. The people with the loudest mouth in this thread are people who do zero for the community. I do not see them participating in contributing, neither do they vote alot, nor are they helping in useful threads like the gallery or headshot ones. I am of course not talking about you Martian, you do a hell lot of work here, tho we are not studybuddies and often disagree on stuff. Besides that, what you are completely overlooking Skip, the vast majority of contributors rarely or never visit those forums, they just contribute and do not write in out endless debating threads Donnie | | | www.tvmaze.com |
