| Posted: | | | | The EAN for Alien Quadrilogy is 5039036014823
When I put in the Ailen disc (for example) and go to Add Inserted Disc, DVD Profiler reads the disc and shows the Current Disc as ALIEN_DISC_1 (8D41E5F0F99FC9E1)
The Title shows as (unknown)
Now the Add DVD button is greyed out, and there is no way I can find to add this DVD anyway and start creating a new profile (other than through the Add By EAN screen)

I'm still a bit concerned that none of the Alien discs are in the database under the new-style Disc IDs. I've had to add the separately-available 2-disc Special Editions, which appear to be identical to the discs in the boxset. A. | | | Last edited: by Anorakus |

Now that you have found identical profiles for your disc's, select say the profile for the first film, click on edit move to the disc's section put your first film DVD into your drive and change the EAN/UPC to match that of the DVD. You will then be able to submit the profile as a Child Profile for the box set by the DISC ID that you have just added to your own database. Steve |

Whatever all Anorakus (or I!) has to do are import the R2 profiles from 2.4 (unsuceessfully, I know) and then put the appropriate discs in the drive and change the EAN to the Disc ID and all the data is there. | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |
