I don't assign a number to a child-profile in TV-series (set number to none), and than i have 2878 numbered proilfes. But i do number seperate movies and the boxset so the James Bond Suitcase (r2) counts as 1 for the Suitcase and 20 for all movies. I know it's not entirely accurate as to how much dvd's i own but i think it looks better when i scroll through my collection.

If I would do a strict count by title, I would treat a tv series like M*A*S*H as one single title regardless of the number of seasons it run.
