Agreed; I can put it next to my Flixter and Criticker applications and get the full set Hey, those who don't like Facebook and other such social networking sites, it's not compulsory you know | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | I am still waiting for this "little" gadget to show off my library on facebook I am willing to pay if anybody would be willing to develop it. There is a "Movies" application that I use meanwhile to "store" my movie reviews. Come on guys - let's make it happen (trying to encourage someone) ^^ Edit: judging by the number of views this thread got I think there are a lot of people interested in this feature as well | | | Last edited: by sondani |

| Posted: | | | | Haven't been around in about a year but just updated everything onto this new site.., I also think that getting our collections onto FACEBOOK would be an excellent idea.., there's plenty widgets there that truly are creative and informative.., I just uploaded a pretty extensive radio of my music on Media Master and have already gotten a lot of comments on my eclectic taste.., imagine if they could 'see' what I watch!! |

| Posted: | | | | Throwing my vote in for this idea. Recently got back my license key for DVD Profiler (as in 10 minutes ago) and am looking forward to getting home from work tonight and re-catalogueing my collection.
On of the great things I love about DVD Profiler is My Profiler, and being able to share my collection with friends and family. To connect it with Facebook (and other common systems) would rock. | | | Zeb A. http://www.geekchixxx.com |

I'd like an app which could compare friend's collections. This overcomes the whole comparison security issue we had with comparing our collections to the entire list of users of DVD Profiler. |

You don't need a "little gadget" .... just post a link to your online collection on FB Well, I want news-feed functionality as well If a LINK would do a last.fm application would be worthless as well, right? ^^ I think you haven't got the idea of Facebook yet - you might give it a try. The first step I would like the developers of dvdprofiler take is to open up access to the online library - to request some fancy RSS style news, which for example show my latest additions to my collection (which I uploaded to MyProfiler beforehand). My collection lies somewhere on the servers of invelos.com in XML form - It would be handy to request data from that file via RSS/XML/whatever. Look at last.fm for a great example: http://www.last.fm/feeds/If an online request is not feasible because of traffic constraints - an application, that can point to ANY URL that holds the XML data would be thinkable. So i would have to upload my collection.xml to another host first. I guess that's the way that php application (phpDVDProfiler?) works. |

I just posted the link on my Profile. Nothing fancy, but friends can check out the collection is they wish |

| Posted: | | | | I'll join the band of people who'd like this app. Otherwise maybe the phpDVDProfiler crew could make one that worked with that? | | | DVD Profiler på Dansk |

| Posted: | | | | A DVD Profiler App would rock. It would be in Invelos best interests as well, because they'd sell more copies of the full version of the program as well. | | | Last edited: by filmcans |

| Posted: | | | | I very much think a Facebook application would be a GREAT idea. All it needs to do is show the DVDs we own. Nothing more. You have no idea how much traffic this will bring to the Invelos website and how many new DVD Profiler users you'd get (reiterating what filmcans said...).
Maybe this should be moved to the Feature Request forum? | | | JAFO

| Posted: | | | | I'll add my vote as well, I always have to send the link to friends who want me to bring some movies over (they are oblivious to the concept of favorites, but live on facebook/mysapce)
not only will this bring in new users, invelos can make money from the advertising in the app itself. anything to financially support them is good in my opinion... |
