Do either of the following two movies "fit the bill"? Erik, I love Stalker! Unfortunately, being so long, and not everyone's cup of tea (so not always the best to share), I rarely get to re-watch it. The City of Lost Children is on (relative to everything else) a high rotation for me. That and The Dark Crystal are movies I won't tire of.
Earlier today I was thinking how much Silent Hill relies on its visuals. Apparently there's a sequel in the works, which makes me happy. From the trailers, Dark Floors looks to have a similar aesthetic.
Oh, and I finally watched Marie Antoinette. Although it was lovely eye-candy, I didn't care for the movie. | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |

| Posted: | | | | I don't know how many would have seen it, and it's certainly not in the same category as many of these movies, but for a visually unique film, the anime Kai Doh Maru is worth a watch. The palette is best described as watercolours. | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |
