| | Posted: | | | | I started programming on the Atari 800 back in the early 80's and then on the Atari 800 XL that my parents got me.
I used that thing so much that the 1050 floppy drive failed because the metal plate that was used to lift the drive clamp (it was flexed ever so slightly when you locked the clamp in place) snapped from metal fatigue. Had to take the drive apart so I could press down on the clamp so the disk would spin and read. |
