There have been a great many Snopes entries that have been found to be false and misleading because of that. What?  Snopes is not Wikipedia. Nobody can update anything on there. They also list all of their sources with is better than just about everything else floating around. |

Are you saying there's something wrong with the Muslim faith? Absolutely. It is not the "Muslim faith" either, it is Islam. In any case, Islam is NOT a peaceful religion, and anyone who has spent even a rudimentary amount of time studying the Koran can illustrate that. In addition, the most common form of Islam found outside of Saudi Arabia is the Wahabbi sect, which teaches the doctrine of jihad against anyone who is not of the Islamic faith. Islam is rooted in the 14th century and has made little if any progress at all toward outgrowing the violence that characterized its birth. | | | John

Problem is that even if the rank and file muslim is not a radical fundamentalist or a terrorist, they have done nothing to disavow those in their religion who are even to the point of turning a blind eye when they know someone who is plotting some terrorist act. Also, to answer your original question about Obama being a muslim. There is a lot of unresolved evidence that points to that very fact, and there has been a lot of effort expended to prevent anybody from resolving those questions satisfactorily. | | | John
