Except for the, due to split second cuts galore, barely watchable action sequences (I could hardly glimpse at the new Aston at high speed...) I liked it. Didn't find it as good as CR, though.

Mathieu Almaric gives an decent performance of a egomanicial character, I've rarely seen such an impressive madman's stare. Apart from that, his character is pretty pale and not very memorable. As are most of the villains present in this movie.

The story was easy enough to follow, if you remember CR, that is. If you haven't seen that one at all or don't remember it too well, you might get lost sometimes. Compared to other Bond movie plots, this one is pretty straight forward, as is the movie as a whole, too.

Craig delivers as expected, another cold performance without the glamorous and easy living attitudes his predecessors had. Since CR, Bond has turned into a cold and effective killing machine (over-effective to the point of open criticism by his superiors).

Except for the action scene failures, it's a decent action movie that resembles the Bourne franchise a lot more than the Bond franchise, though.
