| | Posted: | | | | Reading the article, Harris hasn't found another print, but feels he now has the digital tools to restore the 1991 roadshow print (which was the basis of the laserdisc and then mishandled terribly), which now has nearly total yellow layer failure and is going vinegar. | | Posted: | | | | If anyone is interested in seeing before eventually buying,,(don't have a release date yet),, this coming Tuesday the 18th TCM will once again broadcast the entire 202 minutes version ( road show?) of The Alamo in Stereo and widescreen ( non anamorphic) .. I find these days that TCM cable has some pretty nice cable transmissions and the digital TV, (though not as good as as DVD) is pretty close to near perfect for those rare movie moments on American television. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird.
