I repeat: is all this completely unrelated nonsense really necessary every couple of days?

Your clarification was useful

There we go. The post by Voltaire53 was especially helpful as well. The point is: there really was no need for anything else - we had the whole thing wrapped up before you even woke up.

Then how about you apologise instead of making inflammatory statements about other users?

You know, there is another user who has made, unprovoked, inflammatory statements about me in the last few days...why didn't he get a rebuke like this?  Why does it seem like this righteous indignation is reserved only for Skip?  I have no problem holding people accountable for their posts but, if we are going to do it, it should apply to all users.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Because in all honesty I haven't seen those posts, or don't remember seeing them. I remember seeing a short spat between you and Tim not so long ago but it looked like you sorted it out between yourselves before I was even online.
It's also possible that there was too long a time between it happening and me reading it. I have seen comments before that I thought were unfair, however if the discussion had moved on within the hours of it happening and me reading it, I'm unlikely to comment because it would derail the discussion again. In this case it was a direct reply.
I agree that all users should be held equally accountable for their comments but don't you think it's equally possible this indignation seems most aimed towards Skip because he is the most prolific poster of insulting comments?

No, inflammatory language here....RIGHT!!!! Nor anything that resemblees a personal attack. Just the comments of a very judgemental person. I am not amused, sir. Quite literally ANYTHING which I say pales in comparison to yours. I can't even hold a candle to you, nor do I want to.

I guess some of us are free to be just as nasty and unfriendly as we want to, insulting of someone's intelligence, all derogatory statements permitted, some users allowed to be personally attacked and demeaned repeatedly... while others must be beaten.

I feel obliged to make one more point. Earlier this week, this particular user commented that he had a cover that was in bad shape but that he would scan. I suggested, despite the venom he consistently hurls at me, that if he would send me full size scans at 600DPI, I would be happy to see if I could clean them up and restore them for him. I got not so much as a kiss my foot, let alone a thank you for the offer...I report...you decide.
