If the goal is Costume Designer then the rest (Costumer Supervisors) are just clutter watering down the information. I can't vote against them but i don't let the clutter in locally. My goal is not to have the maximum number of crew names but those that best fulfill the defined role(s). IMHO. On the original topic of 'X-Men Uniforms by'...they are a gray area to me. Not the 'clutter' the other subordinate positions are but maybe not technically a Costume Designer either. Had the credit been proximate to the Costume Designer however... | | | Bad movie? Can we build this man a pedestal? Or better yet: can we get this into the rules somehow? Please?! |

Costume Designer, yes or no? Again I say yes. I don't know if it's the word Uniform is throwing off some or not. From LinkDefinition: Noun: a special identifying set of clothes for the members of an organization, such as soldiers Thesaurus: uniform - clothing of distinctive design worn by members of a particular group as a means of identification article of clothing, clothing, habiliment, wearable, vesture, wear - a covering designed to be worn on a person's body Seems clear to me that Uniform equals Clothes and Clothes are Costumes in regards to movies, so I think if we do the following since Uniform is the same as Costumes then we allow the credit in. X-Men Uniforms by to X-Men Costumes by Just because a different name for clothing is used it shouldn't mean that we ban it from the database. |
