| Posted: | | | | He's got you dragon. Your scan looks like the inside cover with the lenticular banner from the slip-cover attached. A good result, yes, but against the rules IMHO. Fess up! |

| Posted: | | | | Except I did clearly show that it's not the slip cover.
Following your quote of the rules, it wouldn't have the Blu-ray banner added to the image at the top as that isn't naturally on the box cover. So it's either a violation by claiming it's something it's not, or it's a violation by adding things that aren't there. |

| Posted: | | | | Except as I pointed out in this case, where it was alleged to be the slip cover but clearly shown not to be. Then if you wanted to use the reflective rule (which I personally don't think this one is but that's another issue) then it would be breaching by adding the Blu-ray banner.
I'll let the thread die now as the matter has been resolved. |

| Posted: | | | | These are contributions. That means you have to follow what the rules tell you to do. If you don't like that on a particular movie release, do what I do; make your own scan, use it in your local db and lock the profile. | | | Dan | | | Last edited: by Dan W |

| Posted: | | | | I absolutely agree with Dan. As Dan knows there are very few scans in my collection which I did not do, right off hand I can think of maybe a half dozen, they were silver covers and one of our colleagues dirk-steitz has these down pat. I believe that Dan does pretty much the same personal policy, he does his own.
