Making unnecessary comments and pointing out that something might be against the stated forum policies and bringing it to the attention of the moderators are two quite different things. Making unnecessary comments and pointing out that something might be against the stated forum policies and bringing it to the attention of the moderators are two quite different things. But I would not expect you to be able to make that differentiation. Do the moderators need your help to decide what is allowed or not? No they don't. Do the moderators need your help to decide whether a topic needs to be closed? No they don't. Does that make your posts unnecessary? Yes it does.
