| Posted: | | | | It would've been more than easy enough to say "No Unit Crew" if that had been the intention. However only specific roles were picked out to not include. Rightly or wrongly the rest can be included at this time. |

That being said, can you give a more detailed description as to how the credits are formatted? You said that the LA crew was listed first, then the statement about the locations, then the Scotland crew. I need to know whether or not the LA crew has a heading that states it is the LA crew or are they just listed like a normal credit roll. There no heading for the initial credits, as such I am assuming they are from the LA location. So it looks like this: Credit Credit Etc. Filmed on location in Scotland & Los Angeles Scotland Credit Credit Etc. Second Unit Photography Credit Credit Etc. Long spacing and then Music credits |

Credit Credit Etc. OK Quote:
Filmed on location in Scotland & Los Angeles
Scotland
Credit Credit Etc. OK but optional to add as long as roles come from the chart and aren't one of the excluded "unit" roles. I wouldn't remove them if already present in the profile. Quote:
Second Unit Photography
Credit Credit Etc. I would exclude anything here, even if the role looks acceptable, but technically you can add them except for the noted exceptions (director, DOP). Quote:
Long spacing and then Music credits OK to add if you find roles from the chart. | | | ...James

| Posted: | | | | Music credits are primary credis as you describe them, Kathy, I also presume that anything below that is probably a primary production crew credit. Are theer NO opening Credits. Where did the credits that already exist come from? I see an awfukl lot of unanswered questions here?
My primary concern is that these proposed credits have no meaning since we cannot define them for what they are. IF Ken gives that ability then I am all for it, otherwise WAIT.

| Posted: | | | | FYI, divider headings in version 3.6 have one of three types: Episode, Group, and Team. Group and Team dividers can exist within a particular credit type (e.g. in the middle of the Sound crew category). A fourth type of divider serves to end the group or team within the listing. All types are available for cast and crew.
Further, the group and team dividers "flow down" to the role listing and are shown in the credit info screen.
Currently, group and team function identically, with the exception of different heading colors. Will be interested to hear feedback on this.
The Beta is nearly feature complete and will be out soon - probably next week. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

| Posted: | | | | That sounds Awesome Ken! And can't wait to check out the new beta... will there be a thread announcing (pretty much) all the new features like there was for v3.5? | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | Thank God. Kathy, like I said...WAIT.
I am curious as to your concept of "Team" divider, Ken. Group, Episodes...got that figured out.

| Posted: | | | | "Team" is for things like special effects company team member listings. "Group" would be used for pretty much everything else. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

| Posted: | | | | I personally hope 3.6 will offer an option to basically opt out of all thisextensive crew data. I'm sure I'm not alone in harbouring little interest in most of these credits beyond Director.
Yeah I know, I don't have to accept the crew info on contributions, etc. but thought this was a good point to toss my 2 cents in. |
