| Posted: | | | | 790 DVD's to 35 Blu-ray titles. 95.57% DVD 4.43% Blu-ray But I'm going 200% for BD. I've collected DVD's since June 7th, 2000. ( The Matrix & Eyes Wide Shut) And I've collected Blu-ray Discs since July 22nd, 2009. ( Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) That makes it: 790 DVD's in 3924 days and 35 Blu's in 296 days Or: 0.20 DVD's per day (one every 5 days) and 0.12 Blu-rays per day (one every ~8 ½ day). How many of you have Laser Discs? And just that: how many? I threw out all my VHS-tapes I had (I only have a few left, which are included in music video collections or that kind of documentary – all from Icelandic music artists ), I don't have any LD's (if I would I would have had T2: Judgment Day - from which I'm currently also listening to the music soundtrack ) and I never cared to buy HD-DVD, because I wanted to see which format "won" the market. I am dead set every time a new format arrives, to never buy anything from the older formats again. But seeing that DVD has so many titles and all, I can't swear that I wouldn't buy another DVD. It's most likely that I will. But I rather wait, than to buy a movie on DVD, nowadays. The last DVD I bought was Astrid Lindgren Matiné: Sommardag på Junibacken/Lotta åker till Landet, on September 1st, 2009. It's not a real movie, as the title suggests. But it includes deleted scenes from one of the Madicken movies ("Maggie" in the US). Two days earlier I bought Twin Peaks: The Definitive Gold Box Edition... The last actual movie I bought was Basic Instinct: Special Edition: Unrated Director's Cut, on July 14th, last year. OH BOY, that was an orgy in information. LoL. | | | Last edited: by MikaLove |

I even would have added up the monthly data manually if the key (Charts & Graphs...) wouldn't end in December 2006: | | | Don't confuse while the film is playing with when the film is played.
