I didn't forget them, I just ignored them. They are, for the record, all copies of the same film, 'The Bourne Identity', where the credit is simply entered incorrectly. I understand better why you find the database perfect. When it contains errors, you "just" ignore them. What do users who download profiles concerned by those errors really get? | | | Images from movies |

They are, for the record, all copies of the same film, 'The Bourne Supremacy', where the credit is simply entered incorrectly. In profile credit or in movie credit? In the profiles. She's credited on-screen as Violetta Gräfin Tarnowska Bronner, but it's mistakenly entered without the accent in a few profiles. | | | Last edited: by T!M |

I'd say that about 95% of the profiles in the database has at least one, but probably lots more errors. I don't understand what that has to do with the parsing of Violetta Gräfin Tarnowska Bronner, or with anything else for that matter. Hardly any profile is perfect. So what do users who download profiles really get? Well, sometimes you get a good profile, and sometimes you don't. Hopefully, as time moves on, more mistakes get corrected, but I can promise you now that it won't all be done tomorrow. All in all: what's your point? And again: why hijack a perfectly simple parsing thread with all this? | | | Last edited: by T!M |

| Posted: | | | | Sorry if I'm a bit late, but the "mistake" with Grafin brought me an idea. There are so much website that write Grafin, so I thought it could be correct. Also from her name and the alternate names given in imdb I can't lose the feeling she isn't German and perhaps there different rulings that apply to her. (Not the German name rulings) It sounds like a name from Eastern Europe. Also Grafin sounds like coming from this direction. (from German wikipedia: Gräfin in Russia: Grafinia) |

This means nothing I will not attempt to ridicule you, as you did me. Instead, I will assume it is because English is not your native language that you didn't understand, and attempt to explain it. When used in the way I used it, it simply mean, "Nothing else needs to be said." I could have used 'exactly' or 'QFT' or 'agreed'. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. | Posted: | | | | Thanks for your answer. Though I thought it meant that, english speaking users must know that what they say in a short form, and specially with initial letters (QFT...), is not always obvious for all users, and may be cause of some misunderstandings. | | | Images from movies |

It sounds like a name from Eastern Europe. ... Tried to find something more, but didn't had luck. But I also found nothing that she's German, so I would go with the normal use of Honorifics. For parsing I tend to Violetta//Tarnowska Bronner [Violetta Gräfin Tarnowska Bronner]. Tarnowska Bronner in last name because of Grafin/Gräfin and because many site also write from Tamowska-Bronner or Tarnowska-Bronner. |

Are we dropping all the "Don"s from spanish names, too (What about Don Johnson then )? Couldn't agree more if i tried! As i said in the German Honorific threat Quote: If i saw Baron Philipp von Boeselager i'd use the Honorific rule, if i saw Philipp von Boeselager, Baron of Munich (just making someting up), i'd use the honorific rule. But now, this being in the middle of his name, i'd just presume it's his name. Paul |
