Maybe or maybe not depending on how old it is, There is a point when you cannot edit posts anymore.  Sometimes when BY approvals get way behind you lose the ability to edit before it is approved (however that does not happen often since I believe the loss of editing happens at 30 days for that thread)

However not everyone does that and go back to edit after, nor can anyone force them to.  I for one have not done it lately (I used to), but I just have not had the time.

I have posts in there I cannot edit and they are 30 days old.

But that was not the main point.
