In most Texas counties, a primary election determines whose delegates are sent to the Democratic convention, but in other counties, caucuses are held to choose the delegates. I know of no other state (but I haven't looked closely, or even loosely) which holds both elections and caucuses in the same state on the same day. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

KM About one third of the Texas delegates are elected through the caucuses. This means that while Clinton won the primary election she only won 2/3 of the Texas delegates. | | | | - Jan |
