I feel deeply offended by this comparison.

Did I misuse the Holocaust?!

I think not!

There are a certain kind of people that claim that the Holocaust is merely a propaganda tool of the West, used to bring shame and judgement on the German people after WWII! I am NOT one of those - however, I see similarities in your way of denying the existence of Al Qaeda, and therefore used a parallell to the Holocaust issue.

Lest we forget - is all I can say!

And as a PS, I must say that you giving me a Red Arrow for my opinion in the matter, is beyond pathetic!

Again, public forum.

I would agree in that denying the exisitence of a terrorist organization responsible for the killing of thousands of innocents could be considered akin to denying the Holocaust. I would consider both to be a slap in the face to those that lost their lives, the survivors and their families. Tell the families of the soldiers, both U.S. and coalition, that have died and been maimed in Iraq and Afghanistan that Al Qaeda is just a figment of their imagination.

I beg to differ.

With no word did I deny the horrible crimes of 9/11 or other terrorist acts. This is something completely different than denying the death of 6 million people.

At least for Iraq I leave that to GWB, since there has been no connection between Al Qaeda and Iraq.

(from Washington Post, June 17, 2004: The Sept. 11 commission reported yesterday that it has found no "collaborative relationship" between Iraq and al Qaeda, challenging one of the Bush administration's main justifications for the war in Iraq.)

Hi Guys,

Thanks for ignoring my comments on page 21.

Something to keep in mind is we have an opposite point of view regarding death than terrorists. For many terrorists there reward comes in the after life, where we hold life dearly. Perhaps in there eyes it's not so bad to kill. I wonder if there is a correlation between quality of life & the degree of religious fanaticism? Or the less you have, the more religion you have?

Do the amount of people killed make the act less heinous? Nazi-Germany had over 5 years to execute their "Final Solution", and I believe that if our "friends" in the East had the same opportunity, they would have executed far more than 6 million in the equal time period! The 9/11 attack, and their Jihads on Western way of life proves their resolve to use any means nescessary to rid the world of us Western infidels!

GWB still has a 25% approval rating over here.  This effectively means that the odds are 1in 4 that your claim of Al Qaeda and Iraq will be refuted if you're talking to an American.  Just an FYI because this will likely get really silly, really quickly.

Thank you very much Gunnar for being the voice of reason in this thread.

There's always some silly conspiracy theories like this. Some people have watched too much X-Files.

Brian is IMO correct. Al Quaida declared war, and the US responded, as any country would to defend their citizens. It's not just an option, it's an obligation. Not saying that all choices may be right, but I'm sick of all Europeans sitting at home having the right answer to these questions, even more than every American and their government.

We should all support USA for sacrificing so much as they have, because what they're fighting for will benefit all people, including us Europeans. I think people would've felt differently if their own country was attacked.

The sad truth is that they are being attacked...from within.

Just take a look at the radical Islamic infiltration of major European countries and watch what happens over the the next 20 years while the doves prevent any action from being taken.

It will be very disheartening to watch!

I agree! It's a graphic depiction of what's been discussed in this thread, should someone break into su casa. Some gun lovers, have real problems after the ultimate act.

Hal thanks for the response, I was beginning to think I was being ignored.

FAKE!!! Also very sad Rico to put something like this in a forum which has already become way overheated.  Plus head shots with a handgun look nothing like that.  The entry side stays in pretty good shape while the back of the head is ripped open like an orange.  I found a friend who committed suicide that way, I can still see it and it has been 14 years.

Fake Yes! Couldn't you tell by the credits. This illustrates what guns are about. And now you can be the monitor of, when this forum becomes overheated. Congrats on your promotion. It's like some of the boys gotta have there big guns, boast how they will blow someone away without hesitation, then are 'not very amused' or give red arrows, when they graphically see the results. You got a dose of reality, what your superior fire power can do, and felt unsettled by the Fake video, blasted me with your arrow.

This factual description, of someone being shot in the head, is okay, but linking to a fake shot to remind gun owners of what there weapons can do is not. Seems hypocritical, & prone to overheating the community - very sad Lord.
