Well, that's an option, but I would like better the order of broadcast so to understand the evolution of the series as a whole, like you said.
The same goes for other sagas: for instance, I would watch Star Wars 1, 2 & 3 definitely after the original three movies, even if episodes 1, 2 & 3 come first in the story.
