So who here is actually picky on their selections? I imagine some collectors at the 2,000+ mark just grab any dvds to make their collections grow quicker. I've been at it for about 3 years now...

Personally, I've always gone for quality, not quantity.  Why own junk that you'll never watch?

so far, apart from about 5 doubles" i bought by accident, i can't think of a single movie i would pull from the collection, i bought them either because i really wanted them, the mrs did, or i thought i'd try one i'd never seen and turned out ok, even if it was poo, i still keep them for curiosity value.

I am already at 665. Lately all my purchases are cheap HD-DVD's. Although I bought a few full price. Actually I previously was up to 987 but then I needed money and sold a lot. Then I was down to about 300. I got from 300 to where I am now in about 6 month. I am happy to join the club.

My #666 was: Star Trek: TOS - Season 3.
I am up to 677 now. I should break 700 next week. I haven't seen a 700+ club. I will open it, if I can't find it..

Although I have over 1000 DVDs (discs) if I were to count TV series box sets as 1, then I'm at 765.

Maybe we need a 750+ Club...

My number 666 was Fast Food Nation. Although I had wanted my number 666 dvd to be a horror one.

I've passed 600 now.  My count shows 604, counting the box sets and the titles in the box sets.  With out the box sets, I'm at 585, but I have one Hitchcock collection that has 20 movies on 4 discs that I haven't added..I don't think I can get those 20 titles added since they aren't on 20 different discs.  Anyway, counting those titles, I am at 604 - like my profiler says.

I'm now exactly at 600. That's including ordered DVDs yet which I always at to owned (use the ordered tab for something else). I've already paid for them so they count  Number 600 is likely going to be one of the discs from the Hitchcock Masterpiece collection. Not sure yet what number 666 is going to be, I certainly got to clean up my collection first so that 666 will always be 666.

I finally reached the 600 plateau. I thought it would never come to this, and now I see no end in sight. Here's to 700.
