Even if I was, I probably wouldn't vote for Edwards anyway. There's something about him I don't like, but I can't really say what it is. The best word that comes to mind to describe him is "sleazy," but again, I can't explain it... If I could, I would probably vote for Hillary. It would be her third term then, I know (while I liked Bill, I doubt he ever really made any important decisions without consulting her - she seems to be the brainy one in that marriage), but at least it gives her something the other candidates lack, which is experience...  And yes, I know it is a contradiction in terms to use the word "brainy" in a sentence about presidential candidates. Interesting to see so many socialists outside of the U.S., I don't say that derisely, just an observation. Socialism has been proven to not be a viable system of government, everywhere it has been tried, it is NOT the job of Government to take care of its citizens, protect them ...yes, but not to take care of them. I think Education, Health Care, Food and Shelter are basic needs that government should supply if the citizen is unable. I think the Socialism you say has "been proven not to be viable system", is what we fought against in our wars. I dont think our system has yet to be proven to not be a viable system. |
