I really hate the end credits that scroll from top to bottom instead of the normal bottom to top.

It's possibly quite obvious to you, but, dare I ask... why?  Is it purely that it breaks with the convention you're used to?  I tend not to take too much notice of which direction the credits are scrolling.  Is this "reverse scrolling" common?  Can you give some examples?

Thanks

In Baywatch season 5, a recurring role "Conner" becomes "Connor" in a later episode.
A "J.B." is sometimes "JB".
And actor "John Valenti" becomes "Jon Valenti" (I opened a specific thread on that).

I hate:

  • ANY credits done in some artsy fartsy font that doesn't show a clear differentiation between letters.  (Is that an I, an i, an L or an l?  Is it a G or a C?  An O or a Q)

  • ANY credits done in red text on a black background.

  • ANY credits done in a font that might be legible in a wide-screen theater but way too small to be legible on a computer monitor or TV screen.

  • ANY credits which have been squeezed to free up screen space for (1) previews of the next week's episode, (2) promos for David Letterman of Jay Leno, (3) promos for what's coming up on the 11:00 pm news (EST)

  • In short, I hate any credits that I have trouble reading.  So I don't find myself going to IMDb or some other 3rd party source to translate what should be visable & legible on screen.  If it were my name up there on screen and I couldn't read it, I'd be mightily pi**ed off!
