It is the continues level of a variable amount of greens against a variable amount of red ones. The more present you are in the forum and assist the other users the more green ones you receive. My first star I got was with the explanation of how you could swap the name/role position in the crew/cast window. the second star was short lived due to a head on collision with another user.
The more you are involved in discussions the more risc you take getting red ones. At the moment I have 10 red ones. I have 28 green ( for the month) and NO red... and no gold star either..
