FACT: Imdb is WRONG 70% of the time! Misspelled cast, incomplete cast, wrong cast/crew roles. So for those who want DVD Profiler to be "as perfect as Imdb", good luck with that.

Because, after having read Daddy DVD's post over and over again, I tend to believe that the two credits I confirmed ( 10 Items or Less and The Spiderwick Chronicles ) are not contributable  Quote:

Long answer: they way I read the rules, there seems to be nothing to stop you entering a "Recordist" into the profile even if that person is in the post-production section because the rules don't make that exception. Yes, according to the sound expert it's a different job and we probably shouldn't track it, but that exception isn't in the rules and not all contributers reads the forums so we can't exclude them as valid credits. Some people may argue that because "Recordist" isn't in the "credited as" list it's not allowed anyway, only "Sound Recordist" is. Personally I think that's overly strict, but it is also a valid opinion. |

We don't credit Re-recordists, just recordists, so this shouldn't be on the list like it is now. Thats why i stated he was listed after the Rerecording Mixers. As to whether they should be list or not I'm  on it we allow Recordist because Sound Recordist is in the list of acceptable credits so how can we vote against Rerecordist when Sound Rerecordist in the acceptable list, when i see them in a contribution i normally vote neutral as i don't think it would be correct to vote No | | | | Last edited: by ninehours |
