Thirded.

If someone is going to take the time to submit something that either corrects or fills out my database, no matter how small, it gets a vote from me.

I'm not going to vote No to a trivial change if it's correct.  I just wish the submitter would use the time to do something constructive, like filling in a blank or largely blank profile instead of flyspecking em- and en-dashes.

While you may consider a trivial change to be unimportant or not constructive, gard, tyhe same cannot be applied to the user making the Contribution, his opinion of the "trivial" data and its importance is very clearly different from your own.

Today I have to vote on contribution, where just "Booklet" was added to other features.

In my opinion you voted against the rules.

If I voted what? What is against the rules? Yes or No?
Til now I didn't vote.

I'm sorry,  I read your text too fast and my mind added words that weren't there. But anyway, if the booklet exists you must vote neutral or yes.

Til now I voted neutral and this will stay. But as this is a field, which is "free", this is one of the changes that could be argued if it's worth.

And the booklet has to be a booklet. A sheet of paper, folded or not, is not a booklet in my book. But I have no idea if this has any relevance for this specific title, because I do neither own this title nor do I plan to vote on the profile change.

You correctly stated in YOUR book, Rho. I have seen some 4 page Booklets that do contain information beyond just a Chapter List and a front page, not many but some, now can this be easily defined probably not, , in my opinion most 4 pagers are not booklets but some are.

I agree Skip... I saw a few in the past that was no more then a folded piece of paper that contained valuable information. At the same time I seen 10 to 12 page booklets that are no more then a catalog of other titles they want you to buy. Which is of no good other then to fill up my waste paper basket.

So, Skip and Pete - is it your position that the quality of the information determines if it is a booklet or not? That sounds very subjective...

Yes... In a way... as I wouldn't ever... and would vote no to something added that was no more then a catalog of other titles they want you to buy (There was even a poll on that subject... and that was what the majority said as well). But I would vote yes to even a regular piece of paper if it actually contained information about the show you bought. Such as an episode guide with episode names and plots. In my eyes that is an extra of the set. where a catalog is nothing more then filler that has nothing to do with what you actually bought.

I wouldn't judge the quality of the information, but I would make a determination as to whether it is specifically about the DVD that it is enclosed with, or is it just "marketing" crap that is randomly stuck into any DVD.
