The reason he went for citizenship was pretty straight forward. The opportunity's to him over here are very limited with Scotland having virtually no major media and what media there is being highly English and London based he would have no chance at getting a prime time slot over here. I do know that when he and Billy Connolly get togeher, they seem pretty fricking Scottish to me. Of course, my exposure to the Scotts is a tad limited. I do admit I find Conan funnier than Jay, but that is as far as my bias goes.
