If you can work up the patience for it: Dogville is really good (a bit bizarre though, as the whole film is set on one single stage).

Had to weigh in....great friends Pete!!

As for Dolores Claiborne...not really a horror; more a psychological thriller. However it's one of the best Stephen King adaps IMO. Love it!! Also, Danny Elfman's soundtrack is one of his best!

Thanks... Yeah... is a bunch of great friends. All three I met here on this very forum.I really can't believe the generosity. It is weird... the people I meet in everyday life is just the opposite.... it is always what you can do for them. But the people I have met online... it is just the opposite. It seems like it is always I am happy to do it for you. Which makes it all that much easier to be happy to do for them whenever I can do it. You know what I mean?

Good to know... I can watch Delores Claiborne anytime... instead of having to wait for October like the majority of the last selection!

Just watched the trailer for Dogville... looks like it could be a bit of work trying to make it through that one. But I been fooled by trailers like that before.

If you haven't seen Dogma before it's funny the first time around but it does not endure after multiple viewings.

I don't know what made me write Dogma earlier... but I did indeed mean Dogville that I heard just the opposite at the other forum.

I have yet to see it but from what i have heard it's not very universal accessible so opinion's will vary. I just take a positive in that you got it for free so even if it's not your cup of tea least you never spent any cash on it.

Just do a trade or ebay it.

Looks like I get to bring this thread back...

The friend that sent me The Blind Side, Sherlock Holmes and The Wolf Man among others PMed me.

She was in Big Lots and remembered seeing this one on my wish list so she picked it up for me...

Village of the Damned / Children of the Damned

Regions 1, 2, 3, 4

Released: 8/10/2004

Anamorphic 1.85

And then she added...

"I might send it by itself, or I might get all froggy tomorrow and add some others as well."

How awesome is that?

A big Thank You to my friend!

It is more then one person... I have several friends that sends DVDs my way whenever they either upgrade, don't like... or just tired of titles in their collection!

I woke up to another PM this morning... said there is 2 more titles definitely coming my way... as well as a couple more that she is still considering. Then she said... will see if the box is full!

She put the titles in spoiler tags... said if I want to peek I can... if I want a surprise I don't have to look.

I haven't peeked yet... not sure how long I can go without peeking though!    Any bets?
