Quote: a : of or relating to government, a government, or the conduct of government
b : of, relating to, or concerned with the making as distinguished from the administration of governmental policy
If gloating over the death of a dictator from a country involved in a bloody civil war isn't political, then I don't know what is.
And it doesn't matter now what or who turned this thread political, because as the posts show, that's now what this thread is. This isn't about "political correctness" (which tells you something important about this thread right there) — it's about the rules of this forum plain and simple.
It doesn't take much thought to see how the subject and substance of this thread would be controversial. VirtualScot surely knew where this thread was heading from his original post, as several of his other similar threads here have done the same thing in the past.
If you want to bicker over what is "PC" and laugh at other's posts with multiple smilies, feel free. Did I like Gaddafi? No, but I'm not going to cheer here over his death. I'm done with this thread. Good you go and stroke a cat and we will worship the death of a dictator. |

They both died after some guy shot into their sewage pipe. |

You're a vile and disgusting individual . In terms of British humour, that's hardly offensive. Usually ppl are txt jokes like that have a chuckle and txt it on to other ppl. But no one ever repeats it. Sam how ever does what Frankie Boyle does, and saids it out loud. |

I thought this wasn't a political thread, because this is forbidden by the rules to create them Good thing for you this board isn't monitored as the owner don't care... Funny thing is that on most of the other boards I frequent (and yes they have political topic) the members act more as adult with this topic (I was quite shock by that on some forums) that you do here. Isn't it fun to have your own private kindergarden where you can break the rules and say mostly insignificance with no fear of repercussion... |

But i'am aware im presenting behaviour that is not considered constructive, in my posts. Vaguely relating to what my point is. I just can't be bothered mostly applying any level of seriousness in concern to what is, just an internet forum. |

Why do you post serious subject if for you "internet forum aren't a serious thing and just good for LOL moments, flame wars and rule breaker subject"? Sometimes I think the Spotters are right about you... |
