welcome back Skip

I don't wish anything bad on anyone IRL but why does everyone want this sort of thing back to the site?

For the same reason that we still tolerate you.

A polite greeting should not be confused with a desire to see or speak to that person.  One is called "manners", the other is called "friendship".

I welcome Skip back.  As I always have.  That doesn't mean I forget the past.  It just means that, for me personally, he's back on my own personal probation.  I don't suspect he's a changed person, but I'm willing to at least give him the opportunity.  Just don't ask me to pitch in on the cake and balloons for the welcome back party.

If you're coming back and going to be nice and civil to people then I welcome you back.

But you've shown yourself to be unwilling to change your ways in the past when it comes to forum posting, and you tend to be VERY mean and insulting to people. ANY other forum I've ever been on usually permanently (IP) ban users behaving like that.

Hope you've changed.

I do wish you the best with your real life problems and wish them all solved in one way or another.

But as far as the forums go, if you're going to be the same way you've been in the past, then I stand by everything I said.

Skip, if you come back could you at least start to show a little respect for your fellow forum readers and use that one extra minute to proof read your text before you send it? Now your text is totally unreadable and it looks like it has been typed by an four year old. My respect for you is in same level. It only takes a few seconds to read your text through before you send it.

Another thing, plese stop pretending as you have had something to do with this software developement. I know your history with the rules, but beyond that you have nothing more to do with (this) software developement than any of us, in many cases much less. You don't write plugins and you don't partisipate beta testing. Please do understand that you are nothing more that most of us in this forum, please.

And here it goes again. This thread should be locked now, before it goes on for 25 pages and gets ugly...which I'm sure it will soon.

Wow, I even got sucked in.

Most Smartphones I've seen, and the previous generations, had a software option somewhere in the set-up to stop the predictive text analysis, or whatever it might be called on your model. You may want to look into it. I think your recent postings haved proved 'beyond reasonable doubt' that the prediction algorithm in your phone is, well let's say, beyond help.

I'll try that, eo, thanks. The board buttons are bigger on its side maybe that will help. Scot without going into a lot of detail, I am starting or restarting from a point lower than 99% of my friends. My film library is still in storage 1000 miles away. Its been ugly but I hope the ugliness is slowly coming to an end. Imagine, if you can. 62 years old, and trying to survive on less than$1000 per month for the last two years. But at least I have a job and I started collecting my social security, not much bit it does help.
