My ‘rule’ of not paying more than £9 for a DVD or £11 for a Blu-ray disc is paying off I think.

I have a similar rule. No more than €10 for a DVD and €13 for a Blu-ray.

My general plan is to aim for 75% off SRP for DVDs and 60% off for BDs... though I'll accept 66% and 50% usually... of course I do make exceptions <ahem>

My overall saving the last few years has been about 75% (though that includes getting presents for free) but has dropped off as, like SpikyCactus, I have most of the 'old DVDs' that I want and that have reached rock bottom prices and am now building up BDs which don't seem to drop in price as much or as fast... I have also discovered a penchant for limited edition Steelbooks which isn't doing my bank balance any good
It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong

HA! I am 100% with you on this one... I too have developed the steelbook fixation... which ruins your bank account and % saved data...

I shall check back in hopefuly by sunday with my final year end numbers... sadly I still have not imputed all of last years titles in yet (combination of being busy and lazy)

Still no official numbers for me... My computer has been down and work has been busy... I suspect a bad power supply... Tomorrow is the fixing day and hopefully the DVD entering day too!

SRP (converted to USD): $3900.85
Price total (converted to USD): $2277.77
Saved: $1623.08
Average: $16.04 for 142 titles
Profiles without SRP: 35
SRP/Price could not be converted: 2

Note: As one forth of my purchased titles do not have a SRP entered, the numbers are not really representative.

Playing around with the enhanced charting option I am currently implementing in CCViewer (it will now also be possible to fill the data table for the charts via the scripting interface besides filling it via SQL queries):
