I might think you cherry picked the one that suited your argument.

As the cover in the OP shows the German release emmeli correctly searched for German sources.

cya, Mithi

I've been away for a few days, so sorry that this is late...

If you look at my post as well as his, you will see that he posted a "US Standard" and linked to an American source to support it so, while he may have correctly searched German sources for the "German Standard", he did not do the same for the "U.S. Standard" because, as I pointed out, there is none.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

All this "standards" are irrelevant, we need a DVD Profiler standard, rules clearly says to use colon and space in case of Episode descriptors and music and stage performance DVDs, so it's seems logic to me to extend this delimiter to the case of subtitles, but it's only my opinion.

The goal seems to be convincing the guy, who knows he is right, that he is wrong.  A profiler forum staple.

You will get no argument from me, I was just commenting on a specific post, not standards in general.
