And to a lot of us it makes no sense to say "If a film has any color, it should be designated as color."

Personally to me... if I see any mixture of color and B&W within a single film it is mixed to me... despite the percentage. But with that said... I can work with the 10% rule Ken gave us.

You tried to make an analogy between the features of TVs and the features we profile.  It was a bad analogy and i was merely pointing that out.
Bad movie?  You're soaking in it!

No, the analogy was good, but the joke was bad.

Btw. Has anyone seen a DVD/Blu-Ray with "Color: Mixed" on the back cover ? (Or is this something that we have invented.)
And has anyone seen some DVD/Blu-Ray's with both "Color" and "Black & White" printed on the back cover. I'm just curious .

I haven't looked at the back cover for that many in my collection yet... but I have seen some to say both B&W and Color.

I can't remember which DVD but I do remember at least one that had 'Colour / B & W' listed on the back.

It was probably something like 'Bless This House' or 'On The Buses'.
The first series of 'Bless This House' was both Black & White and then Colour. I also seem to recall a strike during 'On The Buses' that caused some episodes to be filmed in Black & White during a Colour series.

I assume these would be entered as 'Multiple' though.

I've got quite a few that specify Color/B&W on them.  Many of the early Mystery Science Theater sets (from Rhino) actually specified per episode on the jackets.

I have some single films (documentaries and such) that are marked color and B&W.

Didn't see a resolution on Sin City...  I have a few releases... one isn't marked yet (CDN SE BD), one is color (CDN Steelbook) and one is mixed (CDN Recut DVD)

Which is correct?

I'd say B&W as the vast majority is in B&W, but has some scenes with color elements, but I don't know if it is more than the 10%, but I'm pretty sure it shouldn't be color.

Thoughts?
