Then what you have seen is not being done per Rules... unless it falls under the given exception of foreign titles that is.

I will not get sucked into a back and forth again.

Vote and contribute per the way you read the rules

I will vote and contribute per the way I read the rules

That is all that can be done until such time Ken wants to make a statement for one way or the other.

Oh. But what happened to "always verify the information directly from the DVD whenever possible" ?

Don't see your point. Foreign titles is an exception to that that is in the rules.

and where do we get the original title from? Going by the rules all I see is the credits.

Like many other things...SRP, CoO, BY...we use an outside source and include that in the notes.

Just to be clear, I am not saying you are wrong and I am right, this is just how I have always interpreted this rule.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Then I suggest you check your own copy of the original Star Wars movie for it's original title.

As the thread starter I'd like to thank everybody for their viewpoints.

I think we can agree that the rules could be clearer on this point, but the use of original title in this case seems to be appropriate. Some seemed to argue that it's appropriate just because of the name of the field. That I don't agree with, but maybe I just misunderstood their arguments.

I have voted Yes to the contribution, and I don't think any further arguments will bring us any closer to a consensus. Thank you.

And you, have made your point. Clearly.

Yet you reply and reply and reply again. Why? What purpose does this serve? Everyone who is reading this thread was very clear about your point pages ago.

So what may I ask is your agenda? Could it be... to get the last word? To try and get everyone to do it your way, because you and only you and only those who agree with you are the only ones who are right?

Tip: stop replying, unless you have new information to add. Everyone is very clear on your stance.

I had all intention of not adding anything more to this thread... that is until your asinine post anyway.

Who the hell do you think you are to tell me when, how or why I can post here to this thread... or any other!

I am hardly the only one here that posts the same thing over and over again...but yet I never seen you get on anyone else for such a thing. And every one of my posts was made in reply to another post.

If you don't like the way I post... then put me on block and you will never have to see me post again!

Chill out, there is no need for inflammatory posts.

From how I read the posts, Pete has no agenda here other than helping to get the data correct and his replies ask different questions and answer different points.
