Thank you for responding!  Where do the pics appear in DVD Profiler?  And does the type of monitor (standard vs. widescreen) matter? (I have a standard size monitor using the Invelos Default - High Resolution layout).  Would the pics appear in the Cast/Crew section, middle of the main window?

Also, does this add any appreciable time to DVD Profiler's startup?

Sorry to ask so many questions, I'm one of the type that needs as much information as they can get before they decide to push the button (so to speak).

Thank you for taking the time, and for your patience.

Thanks Kulju.

Has anyone who has this HSDB noticed any appreciable increase in the amount of time it takes DVD Profiler to startup?

Thanks again.

Is there a notepad document included with the RARs explaining what you need to do with these files, where you need to decompress them to, what to do to install them into DVD Profiler?

I can tear computers apart and put them back together all day long but with software I need instructions...

Just unzip the file.
Then start your dvd-profiler and click on "file" -> "Restore Database" and select the decompressed file.

I think Granville "Danny" Young has nothing to do with DW Griffith.
The image in the database seems to be wrong.

See here
and here

He's the bass player of "Marvin Berry & The Starlighters" of the film "Back to the Future".

Thanks for your work

I've downloaded the 2-part Cast RARs so far and integrated them into DVD Profiler, so far so good, I like what I'm seeing!  I've yet to do Crew and the May Update, still waiting for my time to elapse on the DepositFiles site (15 min. between Parts 1 & 2, an hour for Crew, don't know yet how long I'll have to wait to get the May Update, but I'm off work today so I can wait).

Thank you DarklyNoon for your hard work getting this together!

Yet another question ( ):  If I do a db repair, will it remove unused photos, then if I get new movies which could have used the photos a db repair removed, will I have to redownload the individual RARs and import all over again?

Thank you!!!

if you do a dbrepair you have an option to delete all unused cast & crew. If you delete them you have to download them if they are in a future movie.

Errors in crew:
Terry Ackland-Snow headshot is the one of Andrew Ackland-Snow
John Cameron (1958) headshot is the one of John Cameron (1944)

In cast:
Megan Edwards (1963) is the wrong Megan Edwards
Scott A. Martin is the headshot of Neil Brown, Jr.

I'm going to upload my updates (with theese corrections).

251 crew HS.

Screencaps of cast and crew BYs (also fakes).
